This 5-day workshop will introduce and explore how a regular practice of Iyengar yoga can help alleviate and manage many symptoms associated with MS (fatigue, spasticity, numbness, gait issues, walking, muscle weakness, neural pain, incontinence, vision challenges, depression). Though yoga is NOT A CURE FOR MS, consistent practice can increase strength, balance, stability, stamina to enhance quality of life.
Senior Iyengar Teacher, CIYT, Garth McLean was diagnosed with relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 1996. Upon diagnosis, Garth embraced an ongoing daily practice of Iyengar Yoga based on his doctor's advice. Garth's dedication to self-healing has enabled him to successfully manage many symptoms of MS and keep his course of the condition in remission.
Garth shares his enthusiasm for the healing potential of a dedicated yoga practice with students and teachers at every level around the world. His personal in-depth knowledge of Iyengar Yoga inspires not only those with MS and other neurological conditions, but everyone.
